CFHE is seeking participants for a 12-week program. Learn more!

We are conducting a 12-week community wellness program for Black women, aiming to improve health and well-being. 

 

To be eligible for participation, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Identify as Black or African American 

  • Be a woman aged 18 or above 

  • Reside within a 2 - mile radius of CFHE Ujamaa Café.

  • Have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 25 or higher

During their Health Equity Summit last year, Google Health announced the opportunity to apply for the Health Equity Research Initiative. Today, we are beyond excited to share that we were selected to receive funding to advance health equity research and improve health outcomes for groups disproportionately impacted by health disparities through our UjamaaWell program.
