CE's Hunger Project is a weekly meal delivery program for individuals experiencing food insecurity. Our hunger program outsources the production and delivery of all meals to local community eateries and restaurants who create dinner meal boxes for our residents. Our meals are described as a "hug in a box" composed of wholesome, hardy, and nutritious ingredients and based on the meal standards set by the National Meals on Wheels Guidelines. Our meal program delivers fresh, warm meals to our senior population, homeless residents, and persons with disabilities.

ABOUT THP

Coalition Equity's Hunger Project was first established in March 2020 as The Hudcons County Hunger Project (HCHP); a County meal program supporting local restaurants and food insecure residents in Hudson County. The Hunger Project (THP) outsources the production and delivery of meals to local community eateries and restaurants who create dinner meal boxes for our residents. Our meals are composed of wholesome, hardy, and nutritious ingredients and based on the meal standards set by the National Meals on Wheels Guidelines.

Since March 2020, THP has served over 43,000 meals and 11 municipalities in Hudson County, enrolled 500+ individuals and families into our meal program while partnering with nine small businesses/restaurants.
